About Woodgate Linens

Hi, I’m Katelyn — designer, embroiderer, and lover of meaningful details.

Woodgate Linens began during baby naptimes as a personal creative outlet, stitching meaningful pieces for friends and family as they welcomed new bundles of joy. This small beginning has quickly grown into a collection of personalized, timeless, heirloom-worthy embroidered baby quilts and keepsakes, thoughtfully designed for meaningful gifting and cherishing life’s earliest moments.

I grew up watching my mom sew, quilt, and make everyday life feel special through handmade touches. That legacy shows up in everything I create. No matter the item, my goal is the same: to offer something personal, timeless, and beautifully made.

To me, embroidery is a way to honor the moments, milestones, and memories that shape a family’s story. Each piece I stitch is designed to be used, loved, and lived with — not saved away for some perfect “someday.” Parenthood is full, imperfect, and deeply meaningful, and I want my pieces to fit naturally into that rhythm.

When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually juggling snack duty, needlepointing, organizing something just for fun, reading my Bible, baking with my two little helpers, or looking forward to a girls’ mahjong night.

Every piece is stitched in-house by me, using techniques my mom spent years perfecting and passing down with love. With a background in project management, you can trust that each order is handled with care, professionalism, and close attention to detail. Your support truly means the world to our family.

I’m honored to stitch something that becomes part of your family's story. 🤍

Need your order by a certain date? You’re welcome to include your desired delivery date in the Order Notes section at checkout so I’m aware of your timeline. • Yes! Digital stitch mockups are available by request. If you’d like to receive a proof, please indicate this in the Order Notes section at checkout.

Proofs must be approved within 24 hours. If a response isn’t received within that time, your order will be stitched as shown in the proof so your timeline isn't delayed.

  • Please double-check all personalization details before checking out. If you need to make a change, contact me as soon as possible—changes may be possible before embroidery begins. Once stitching has started, changes cannot be guaranteed.

  • Yes! Orders can absolutely be shipped directly to the recipient. Simply mark the item as a gift, which ensures no pricing information is included in the package. You may also include a gift message to be printed with your order.

Please note that while items arrive thoughtfully packaged, gift wrapping is not currently available.

  • All embroidery is completed by me, in my home studio. I thoughtfully source high-quality blanks designed for infant use, then complete all embroidery, personalization, and finishing in-house myself with care and attention to detail.

  • No. All designs are human-created, not AI-generated. Embroidery files are thoughtfully sourced from professional digitizers, developed through collaborations, or created from original artwork that is then digitized specifically for embroidery.

Each piece is then stitched in my home studio using professional embroidery machines and finished by hand.

  • Some custom requests may be available. If you have something specific in mind, please reach out before ordering so we can discuss your request.

While I do not offer custom graphic design services, I’m happy to work with existing designs or artwork—such as a crest or logo—and digitize them for embroidery when possible. Additional fees may apply. Please keep in mind not all requests can be accommodated due to the nature of embroidery.

  • Because personalized items are made-to-order just for you, they are final sale.

However, if there’s an issue with your order, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I want you to truly love your piece and am always happy to help when something isn’t right.

  • I offer a curated selection of embroidery fonts chosen to suit the quilts and keepsakes. You can explore the Font Library to see each style, along with samples of every letter.

  • Yes! You can view the Thread Color Library to see the full inventory of available color options. Please include any color changes in the Order Notes section at checkout.

  • Yes! The standard placement is the corner of the quilt for a timeless, heirloom look. If you’d prefer a different location on the quilt instead, please indicate it in the Order Notes at checkout, and I'm happy to accommodate.

  • I’m always happy to help! If you have additional questions, please fill out the contact form and I’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
